Can you separate/offset the image header from the main body of the text? Or at least put a border on the top and bottom.
Below that, can you add a sub-header (black with white text) below the main image header - like this example here:

Can you add a shadow border on the sides of the blog?
Can you offset the "Post 1", by adding a border colour around it (same colour as background). same goes for the "About Me" "Blog Archive" "Blog Roll" etc - all should be offset with the back ground colour - like the example shown here:

A few things more:
1.) Can the black subheader (under the main image header) be made narrower, so that I can add a tagline (text)
Try adding this text (in white, italics) for example: miscellaneous thoughts, various musings, random wanderings...

I've noticed that some blogs have tabs there instead (like this one, for example). Do I have the option to add tabs, if I wanted to?
I'm curious to know if you designed this template on the old blogger platform (classic style) or the new blogger platform?
2.) Is there a way to have the date appear UNDER the blog post header? And change the font to regular (not bold text)
3.) The border outline seems a little off. There seems to be more of a border shadow on the right side/bottom, than on the left/top.
I like how you delineated the top and the left side with a simple narrow line - can you acheive this effect on all sides, please. Somehow
the sides should have a nice shadow like this blog here: (not sure how you achieve that. Is it something to do with the background?)

5.) Change the font in the copyright notice on the bottom to arial narrow - and why not link the text "Ron Bailey" back to your website or email address? (I think you should get credit for your work ;-)
6.) Is the image header hosted on a remote site (photobucket, FLICR, etc) if I wanted to go in and change it later on?
6.) Try adding images, youTube video, just to test drive if the template can handle it.
7.) Shouldn't there be a "comment" or "Add Your comment" below each blog post? Additionally, there should be a thin separator line (same colour as background) between the two (below the separator line should be the "Add Your comment" - "Posted by ____ at 5:35 AM 2 comments" part).
8.) I'd like to experiment with a slight contrast colour on the right column - just to offset it from the main body.
Perhaps a very light grey? Some kind of off-white??
